ELOTEX FX2320

ELOTEX FX2320 is a flexible redispersible polymer powder based on a copolymer of vinyl acetate and ethylene.
Mortars modified with ELOTEX FX2320 exhibit:
Excellent workability and neutral rheology.
Enhanced adhesion between insulation boards to wall and mortar, especially boards made of expanded or extruded polystyrene (EPS and XPS).
Improved cohesion.
High flexibility and impact resistance.
Increased crack resistance.
Improved deformability and flexural strength.

ELOTEX FX2320 shows extremely low emission levels of volatile organic compounds (VOC), allowing manufacturers to formulate finished products in accordance with stringent eco-labelling requirements.

ELOTEX FX2320 is a raw material for building and construction industry, such as ready-mixed dry mortars. It is used as an organic binder in the formulation of:
External Thermal Insulation Composite Systems (ETICS/EIFS) (adhesive mortars, base coats (embedding mortars), topcoats).
Renders/plasters.
Tile adhesives (C1/C2, ISO 13007).
Repair mortars (non-structural, EN 1504).
