Product Description
BURGESS NO. 20 is a neutral pH, medium brightness, low 325 mesh residue, water-washed kaolin. BURGESS NO. 20 would be considered a hard clay, useful as a filler in rubber compounds and as partitioning agent, also used in ink applications and industrial coatings.
BURGESS NO. 20 exhibits comparable attributes with a slight advantage in brightness and finer particle size distribution. Competitor Sample B exhibited numerous 45-75 micron size silica particles which is unusually high in a water-washed kaolin clay, see image.
