T*ZAP 52-WSD

The T*ZAP silicone antifoams conform to the requirements of Title 21 CFR 173.340. This means they are food grade and approved for direct use in the processing of food. The T*ZAP silicone antifoams when used as direct food additives are limited to a maximum of 10 ppm silicone. The following chart shows the maximum allowed dosages in direct food applications. The T*ZAP series of emulsions can be easily prediluted with water by slowly adding the water to the emulsion with mild agitation. The T*ZAP A are not water dilutable and must be used as is, or prediluted in solvent. All T*ZAP of antifoam emulsions should be protected from freezing to insure maximum effectiveness. If the antifoam freezes, return the product to room temperature while mixing with mild agitation.
