Product Description
Thickener / Tackifier for food-grade lubricants. Functional V-425 is a thickener and tackifier used in greases and fluid lubricants intended for use in food-processing equipment. It also controls misting of these lubricants. Functional V-425 has been approved by the U.S.D.A. for lubricants with incidental food contact (21 CFR 178.3570). This additive does not degrade at high temperatures, as would a polyisobutylene.
