Tackifier

Product Description

Tackifier based on a blend of polymers dissolved in a naphthenic base oil. Functional V-183 is used to confer tack or stringiness to a lubricant. Recommended to provide adherence in slideway oils and chain lubricants, stringiness in greases, and aerosol resistance in mist and pneumatic-system lubricants. Excellent shear stability and good level of stringiness. Supplied as a yellow-orange liquid, 9000-12000 cSt at 100C.
