BURGESS OPTIWHITE MX™ is a flash calcined clay exhibiting very good GE Brightness and excellent extension of TiO2, whiteness, touchup, and tint strength.
Due to its internal void structure, BURGESS OPTIWHITE MX™ has improved hiding, wet and dry, versus competitive calcined kaolins.
BURGESS OPTIWHITE MX™ is used extensively in flat or low sheen interior/exterior trade sales water-based, alkyd, or solvent-based coatings by reducing the amount of TiO2 and lowering raw material costs while maintaining opacity, whiteness, and tint strength.
